BioVision offers reliable diagnostic services for Clubroot and Aphanomyces testing in soil and in root tissue. We know the impact these diseases have on soil and crops, so we provide high quality, replicated tests to ensure you get your results in a timely manner.

Soil Analysis:

  • Clubroot - PCR & qPCR
  • Aphanomyces  - PCR
  • Soil Seed Analysis -  quantifies seed presence (weeds and crop species)

Tissue Analysis:

  • Clubroot - Canola Root Tissue- PCR
  • Aphanomyces - Pulse Crop Root Tissue- PCR

Sample Requirements: Please send in approximately 500g (2 cups) of soil for testing or the roots from suspected plants. Please ensure plant tissue is couriered overnight if possible.

Processing: Standard turnaround is 7 business days.  Rush is available upon request.
